In the town of Jouret El Termos (Ftouh-Keserwan, Lebanon), a new public school has been established, a school with a bold vision: to redefine what public education can look like in Lebanon.

This school is a promise of dignity, opportunity, and a future where every child has access to quality learning, regardless of their circumstances.

As part of its commitment to strengthening the region, Jouret El Termos Municipality has made significant efforts to enhance public education and provide premium yet affordable schooling options. With a long-term vision of empowering the community, the municipality has worked on transforming the Jouret El Termos Public School into an anchor institution for the surrounding villages, helping families remain in their hometowns, limit migration, and support the sustainable development of local communities.

Efforts are underway to expand and fully equip the school, transforming it into a flagship public high school, a space that inspires pride, innovation, and hope for students from surrounding villages.

But while the school is ready to welcome them, for many students, getting there remains the biggest barrier.

The “Ride to Their Future” initiative exists to remove this barrier, ensuring that no child is left behind simply because they cannot get to school. By providing safe, reliable transportation, we are giving students the ability to focus on learning and fully engage in school life.

The Initiative: “Ride to Their Future” School Transportation Fund

For the academic year 2025–2026, this initiative aims to secure full bus transportation fees for every student coming from neighboring towns. As part of its mission to support local communities, Korkmaz Foundation has undertaken this initiative to ensure that transportation costs are fully covered for the entire school year.

Your contribution will cover transportation for the entire school year, eight months of ensuring students can reach school safely every single day.
